Once a month I'll be devoting a post to Share What You Know. This will be a time to share what you know and empower others. Share whatever you've been learning that would be of benefit to others. The topic is up to you. For example, information may range from divorce planning -- to real estate investing -- to cooking.
Yesterday, I went to a great conference about values based leadership and learned so much! Information on the group that put on the conference can be found at www.principlebasedleadership.org. There were so many talented people attending and teaching at this event. One thing I learned amongst many things is that circumstances do not determine the course of a woman or man's life. Each person gets to choose how they will respond to their circumstances. They can choose to overcome and find solutions or be overwhelmed and paralyzed. How any given person responds will be guided, consciously or unconsciously by their values. Take time to identify the values important to you. Examine what's in your heart. Keep the good values and let go of the bad values or replace them with good values.
